POSITION: Hand Embroidery Specialist | Karigar LOCATION A mman, Jordan The client will arrange the work visa and relocate you if you are not local. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Hand Embroidery Specialist will apply thread logos and designs to garments and soft furnishings. This role requires a blend of artistic ability and technical proficiency to create and implement custom embroidery designs that meet our clients' specifications. QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS Experience with embroidery design Knowledge of various embroidery techniques and styles. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the fashion or home decor industry Ability to read and interpret embroidery patterns and design specifications Knowledge of different fabrics and materials and their suitability for hand embroidery Fluent in English DUTIES Collaborate with clients and the design team to create custom embroidery designs. Translate design concepts into embroidery patterns suitable for hand embroidery techniques. Perform intricate hand embroidery on a variety of materials, including garments, uniforms, and soft furnishings. Ensure precise placement, alignment, and quality of embroidered designs on various fabrics. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications. Correct any embroidery defects or issues to maintain high quality. Monitor and manage inventory of embroidery supplies, including threads, needles, and fabrics. Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous workflow. Offer professional advice on design choices, fabric selections, and hand embroidery techniques. Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless integration of hand embroidery with other production processes. Assist in training and mentoring junior embroidery staff as needed.
